CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – Conway police responded to a report of gunshots in the area of 605 Hill Street on Monday, September 19 at 10:40 p.m., according to a CPD press release.
Officers determined that a shooting had taken place on the roadway and inside of a house.
The victim is identified as Aswan Kahien Rogers, 28, of Conway.
According to CPD's police report, Rogers was transported to the Conway ER and then Grand Strand Regional Medical Center where he died of his wounds.
This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information, is asked to call the Conway Police Department at 843-248-1790.
