ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WMBF) – Robeson County law enforcement arrested two individuals Friday on numerous drug charges following an investigation into stolen property and narcotics violations.
According to a Robeson County press release, Milford Locklear, 43, was charged with: four counts of felony conspiracy; two counts each of felony obtaining property by false pretenses and attempting to obtain property by false pretenses; and one count each of trafficking in opium, trafficking in opium, felony conspiracy to traffic opium, felony conspiracy to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession w/intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony maintain dwelling for keeping/selling controlled substance, receiving stolen property, possession of stolen property, misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Additionally, Selina Locklear, 41, was charged with: two counts each of felony conspiracy and felony obtaining property by false pretenses, and one count each of felony trafficking in opium; felony conspiracy to traffic in opium; felony conspire to sell/deliver marijuana; felony possession w/intent to sell/deliver marijuana; felony maintain a dwelling for keeping/selling a controlled substance; felony receiving stolen goods; felony possession of stolen goods; misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia; and misdemeanor possession drug paraphernalia.
The Lumberton residents were both incarcerated in the Robeson County Detention Center under a $650,000 and $30,000 bond, respectively, the release stated.
Law enforcement conducted a narcotics search at 256 Arabian Drive in Lumberton and reportedly found hundreds of schedule II controlled substances and a large amount of marijuana.
The investigation continues and more arrests are anticipated.
