Myrtle Beach police seek man after infant tests positive for drugs

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach police are searching for a man after a 1-year-old child allegedly tested positive for drugs while in his care.

According to information on the Myrtle Beach Police Department’s Facebook page, a  Be On the Lookout (BOLO) alert has been issued Derrick Gene Aniello, 39. There is a warrant out for his arrest for unlawful conduct toward a child.

A case report alleges the infant tested positive for marijuana and cocaine back in April.

Aniello is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

The suspect was last seen driving a 1998 red Chevrolet pickup truck.
