Urban Land Institute to conduct Georgetown steel mill study

GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) - A panel from the Urban Land Institute will visit the Howard Auditorium and the Winyah Auditorium in Georgetown during the week of September 18-23 to study the steel mill, according to ULI’s press release.

Community members are encouraged to participate in the online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/J392G2R.

There will be a reception and town hall event at the Howard Auditorium on Monday, September 19. The reception will start at 4:00 p.m. and the town hall event will begin at 5:00 p.m.

Questions and statements from the survey will be pulled for discussion during the reception, the press release states.

There UPI will present their findings to the community on Friday, September 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Winyah Auditorium.

The public is encourage to attend these events.
