NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The son of Horry County councilman Harold Worley is accused of criminal sexual conduct with two minor victims after several inappropriate incidents were reported to police.
A witness said that she saw 36-year-old Harold Gene Worley force two children to get on their hands and knees and lick a door, according to the North Myrtle Beach Police Report.
In a separate incident, Worley made one of the victims put Play-Doh "in his butt," and it had to be physically removed from the child, the report states. When asked why he would do that, Worley first said he was depressed, then he "started laughing and thought it was funny and stated that it was just a game."
In the report, the victims also mentioned that Worley laid on top of them with no clothes on, and that he put his genitals on top of their heads. The report lists two victims, but their genders and ages were redacted by officials.
Worley was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Monday and charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Councilman Worley confirmed Harold Gene Worley is his son, and is going through a "nasty divorce."
