CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – Due to localized impacts from Tropical Storm Hermine, Horry County will activate its road and drainage hotline (843-381-8000) until 7 p.m., Friday.

According to a press release, the hotline will also be available on Saturday, Sept. 3, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. This number is available to residents in the unincorporated areas of the county to report any drainage issues or road damage.

The road and drainage hotline is normally activated Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Horry County Stormwater and Public Works crews will be in the field as necessary, making sure drainage systems are open and flowing.

If residents need assistance after the hotline closes, they can call the non-emergency number at the Horry County Dispatch Center at (843) 248-1520.
