UPDATE: Power outage numbers down across the Pee Dee

FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Severe weather from Hermine left over 10,000 without power in the Pee Dee. That number has gradually fallen since the storm passed.

According to information from Duke Energy, Saturday morning approximately 2,636 customers were without power in Florence County.

In Darlington and Dillon counties, approximately 942 and 2,398 customers were impacted, respectively. 

1,453 customers reported outages in Robeson County, NC and 28 customers were without power in Scotland County.

Marion County reported 648 customers without power, according to Duke Energy. Marlboro County has 28 outages. Duke Energy's website says crews are assessing damage and restoring outages. 

Additionally, a transformer explosion near Mr. Joe White Avenue in Myrtle Beach knocked power out to the nearby Sam's Club around 8 p.m., Friday.
