DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) - The Bojangles' Southern 500 is this Sunday, and WMBF News will be bringing you complete in-depth coverage in the hours leading up to the race during Race Day Live, our exclusive pre-race special.

Learn more about the drivers racing in this year's Bojangles' Southern 500 who are in the Race for the Chase in the Sprint Cup Series.

According to his official website, Kyle Busch’s Sprint Cup career is 11 years old.

In 2015, Busch suffered a broken right leg and a broken left foot in a crash during a February NASCAR Xfinity Series race in Daytona, Fla. He made a comeback, and found himself in the four driver winner-take-all season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the website stated. Busch won his first Sprint Cup championship title at that race.

Busch is a four-time winner in 2016. His top finishes happened at Martinsville, Fort Worth, Kansas and Indianapolis.

He has crashed out of four races this year, most recently at Bristol two weeks ago. Busch won the Southern 500 in 2008.
