Man arrested for breaking into three Myrtle Beach businesses through the roof

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A Myrtle Beach man remained in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center Monday under no bond following his weekend arrest for allegedly breaking into three businesses through the roof.

Theodore Jerry Bolick, 51, is charged with three counts of second-degree burglary.

According to Myrtle Beach Police Department incident reports, all the burglaries happened at South Kings Highway businesses. The first allegedly took place on Aug. 18 at a bar, where a $6 bottle of rum and a set of keys was stolen.

The second took place at a Chinese restaurant on Aug. 26, the report stated. The owner told police the front counter was ransacked and the register cashbox, along with $30 in miscellaneous coins, was missing.

A third burglary was reported on Aug. 27 at a liquor store. According to the incident report, a cash drawer containing $150 was missing and multiple bottles of liquor were knocked over and broken.

According to J. Reuben Long’s website, the suspect was booked on the three burglary charges on Sunday, Aug. 28.
