LATTA, SC (WMBF) – The South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division is investigating allegations made against an employee of the town of Latta, according to SLED spokesperson Thom Berry.
The name and title of that employee was not immediately known. However, Capt. Cliff Arnette with the Dillon County Sheriff's Office confirmed a report was initially filed with their agency in reference to sexual harassment involving a town employee.
Arnette added the victim notified the DCSO about the allegation, and based on who the individuals were, the office asked SLED to investigate.
