NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported structure fire with visible flames on Tuesday at around 10:30 p.m. in the 2200 Block of S. Hwy 17, according to NMBFR’s Facebook page.

Personnel said a palm tree and landscaping outside the building were on fire.

The firefighters used extinguishers to keep the fire from spreading any further, the Facebook post states.

Smoke was removed from two floors, but there was no extension of fire inside the building itself.

According to the post, the building suffered minor exterior damage from the fire.

Crews worked on the scene for just over an hour and assisted the business owner and building owner so they could return back to service before midnight.
