HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Two men charged in connection with a fatal 2014 shooting in Longs are scheduled to go to trial in September.
According to a September trial roster from the Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor's Office, Tyrone Ford, 46, and Robert Moody, 29, are both set for trial Sept. 12 on charges of murder and first-degree burglary.
Information from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center website states that Ford is out on home detention, while Moody remains incarcerated.
The fatal shooting happened on March 3, 2014, at a home on Star Bluff Road in Longs.
Jamey Desean Lewis, 22, died as a result of the shooting.
