HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Horry County police say two thieves stole cash and a hotel key from vacationers this week. According to the Horry County police report, the two were caught on security footage at the Sands Ocean Club August 7, 2016.

Horry County deputies are searching for 25-year-old Dalton Brown. Brown is wanted for 2nd degree burglary and 2 counts of petit larceny. His accomplice is not wanted.

Police went to the Sands Ocean Club, located at 9550 Shore Drive around 2:45 p.m.  The victims said they were lounging at the pool when they discovered cash missing from a purse: $25 was gone along with a hotel key. The victim got a new one from the front desk and when she went into the room found several other items were missing. A bottle of vodka had been taken. The other victim checked his shorts and found more than $400 in cash missing.

The front desk staff checked security cameras and police were able to identify Brown and the accomplice. If you have information about Brown's whereabouts contact police.
