Ruiz Foods donates school supplies to Florence children

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) – Ruiz Foods Inc. and Florence County Collaborative Council worked together to donate school supplies at the Florence County Collaborative Council on Friday, August 5 at 3:30 p.m., according to Ruiz Food Products Inc. media release.

Ruiz Cares employees donated school supplies for the Back to School Drive from July 22 through August 5.

On Friday, August 5 the FC3 School Supply Drive received:

  • 5-20 book bags
  • 75-100 packs of notebook paper
  • 175-200 packs of crayons, pens, pencils, markers, and colored pencils
  • 150 composition books
  • 20-25 3 ring binders
  • 10-20 glue sticks
  • 10-15 pencil sharpeners
  • 10-15 pencil boxes
  • Assortment of small packs of Kleenex and hand sanitizer
  • 20-25 folders

These school supply items will help the children in the Florence area.
