NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety warns the public about "Flyer Scams" that may be placed in the area.
Officials with the NMB Department of Public Safety say, there could be flyers for food deliveries and the citizens could call the number located on the flyer to place an order.
The scammer could then take the citizen's credit or debit card information and possibly never arrive with the food.
Officials also added that the flyers won't have an actual business name, making it hard to find it in search engines such as Google.
North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety advises the public to order deliveries from a reliable business.
