Report: Man enters woman's home while she sleeps

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – On Sunday, July 31 around 3:30 a.m., a man entered a woman’s home on in the 2000 block of Greens Blvd. in Myrtle Beach and touched her back while she was sleeping, according to Myrtle Beach Police Department’s public records.

The victim said that while she was sleeping in her bed, she felt someone touching her back. At that moment, she woke up and started screaming.

She said the suspect was standing over her and ran out the door once she started screaming.

According to public records, the suspect is described as a black male, wearing a yellow shirt, about 6-feet-1-inch tall, and weighing 170 pounds.

The other resident living in the home said that she left the door unlocked, when she got home around 12:30 a.m.

She also told the responding officer that she did not see anyone following her while she was walking home.
