Two crimes happened this week in our communities that make you shake your head.
First, thieves broke into the Lighthouse Ministries in Florence…taking thousands of dollars worth of items that are given to low-income working mothers.
Diapers, baby wipes, car seats gone. Items that were meant to help women who are trying to provide for their children and take care of their families.
And just a day later…someone vandalizes a playground in Myrtle Beach that is being built for disabled children…just days before it is about to open.
Consider This: The outrage on social media is evident, but that’s not enough. These are times when we can come together, connect and overcome the unexplainable actions of others. So make a donation, volunteer, be active in your neighborhood to make sure the few bad seeds aren’t able to have any real or lasting impact in our community.
