North Myrtle Beach Public Safety personnel raise funds for Special Olympics

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The North Myrtle Beach Public Safety personnel will support the Special Olympics by raising funds at Krispy Kreme on 1300 Avenue South in North Myrtle Beach starting Wednesday, August 3 through Friday, August 5 from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

According to Patrick Dowling, Public Information Officer for NMB, if a participant donates $1 to $19, they will receive a coupon for a free Krispy Kreme doughnut.

If a participant makes a $20 donation, they will receive a coupon for a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a 2016 South Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run tee shirt.

Public safety personnel will be accepting donations at different locations on the site, the media release states.
