Art and craft festival returns to Myrtle Beach for 34th year

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The 34th Annual Craftsmen’s Summer Classic Art and Craft Festival is returning to Myrtle Beach.

According to a press release, the event runs Friday, July 29 through Sunday, July 31 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

Participants in the event include hundreds of artists and craftsmen from 20 states who have been juried and selected for originality and creative excellence, the release stated.

All the items available, such as pottery, fine art, glass, jewelry and baskets, are made by the participating artists and craftsmen and cannot be found in retail stores.

The hours are 10 a.m., to 6 p.m., on July 29 and July 30, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., on July 31.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $1 for children ages 6 to 12. That price is good for all three days.
