Horry County Police respond to burglary alarm at Dollar General

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) –  The Horry County Police Department responded to the Dollar General store on 3220 Hwy 378 on Monday, July 18 in regards to a burglary that occurred around 4:00 a.m., according to the HCPD police report.

Upon arrival, the responding officer noticed that front glass sliding door had been forced open. The officer then went inside the business and observed that the front register area was in disorder.

Merchandise was all over the floor behind the counter and the safe was damaged, the police report states.

The video footage shows the subject wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie, as well as gloves and black shoes.
