MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach police arrested a man Thursday afternoon and charged him in connection with an alleged armed robbery that took place in the parking garage of an Ocean Boulevard hotel earlier this year.

Johnny Markell Frasier, 24, faces charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and financial ID fraud, according to information from the Myrtle Beach Police Department’s website.

The incident reported stated the alleged robbery took place on March 22 in the parking garage of the Hotel Blue, located at 705 S. Ocean Blvd.

Two victims told police they were heading to a friend’s room when the suspect reportedly pulled a silver gun on them and demanded money or he’d shoot them in the head, according to the report.

One of the alleged victims told police he gave the suspect his walled, at which time he then ran.
