Palmetto Goodwill’s financial literacy courses aim to help community members

GEORGETOWNN, SC (WMBF) – Palmetto Goodwill is offering financial literacy courses at different locations in Georgetown and Horry County for community members starting Wednesday, July 13 and ending July 20.  

The primary goal is to educate the community, and even teens on financial matters such as: setting goals, using credit, and creating a budget.

Community members can call 843-915-7323 or email Randall Davis at rdavis@palmettogoodwill.org to reserve a spot.

Below is is the schedule for courses:

Financial Literacy for Teens, Setting Financial Goals – Conway Library – 7/13, 2 – 3:30 p.m. 
•    Financial Literacy for Teens, Setting Financial Goals – Chapin Memorial Library – 7/18, 2 – 3:30 p.m. 
•    Financial Literacy for Teens, Pay Yourself First – Conway Library – 7/27, 2 – 3:30 p.m.
•    Financial Literacy Class, Using Credit – Palmetto Goodwill Carolina Forest Job Link Center (2164 Oakheart Road) – 7/14, 1 – 2 p.m. 
•    Financial Literacy Class, Making a Budget – Palmetto Goodwill Carolina Forest Job Link Center (2164 Oakheart Road) – 7/20, 1 – 2:30 p.m.
