Wells Fargo bank robbed in North Myrtle Beach, police seek suspect

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – North Myrtle Beach police are searching for the suspect who reportedly robbed a Wells Fargo Bank late Wednesday afternoon.

According to city spokesperson Pat Dowling, the robbery happened at 4:57 p.m., at the bank located at 1025 U.S. 17 South.

The suspect presented a note to the teller demanding money and walked out of the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, Dowling said.

He is described at 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing between 155 and 175 pounds, and sporting short hair and some facial hair.

The suspect was wearing jeans, a pink-colored shirt and sunglasses.

    A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder following a verbal fight and fatal shooting in Florence County Saturday night. Bryan Austin Seidle has been charged with murder for the fatal shooting, which happened on East Circle Lane in Florence County at about 10 p.m. Saturday, according to Major Mike Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.
