3 charged after deputies discover 'active meth lab' during traffic stop in Darlington

DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Three people are in custody following a meth lab bust in Darlington County.

According to a post on the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, deputies discovered an “active meth lab” during a traffic stop late Monday night.

Officials say the vehicle was pulled over near Ruby Road and North 5th Street.

The suspects are: 

  • Craig Allen Elias, of Hartsville, charged with manufacturing meth
  • Suzanne McCauley, of Cheraw, charged with distribution of meth and disposal of methamphetamine waste
  • Rhonda Brooke Lloyd, of Hartsville, charged with distribution of meth and disposal of methamphetamine waste
