FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The 12th Circuit Law Enforcement Network will conduct traffic safety checkpoints at different locations in the Florence and Marion Counties during the month of July.
The focus of the operation is to prevent motor vehicle accidents and to detect impaired drivers, according to the Florence County Sheriff's Office press release.
The 12th Circuit LEN is sponsored through the South Carolina Department of Public Safety. The 12th Circuit LEN is also made up of all law enforcement agencies in Florence and Marion Counties and the 12th Circuit Solicitor's Office and State Constables.
The Florence County Sheriff's Office has been the host agency for LEN Operations for four years in a row, states the press release.
