Traffic accident at Hwy 17 Bypass and Mr. Joe White Ave. cleared

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Emergency crews were at the scene of an accident at the intersection of Highway 17 Bypass and Mr. Joe White Avenue in Myrtle Beach Friday morning.

The accident closed the left two southbound lanes of traffic on U.S. 17 Bypass at about 9 a.m., according to the SCDOT. Police vehicles and a fire truck were in the left turn lanes at 9:03 a.m., as seen on SCDOT traffic cameras. By 9:48 a.m., the scene was cleared, according to the SCDOT.
