Pedestrian hit and killed by a vehicle on Carolina Forest Blvd.

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Carolina Forest Blvd. and Farm Rest Dr. Wednesday night at approximately 9:25 p.m., according to Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard. 

The driver Allison Bessant from Myrtle Beach and the pedestrian Andre Calloway, 23, of Carolina Forest Blvd. were both traveling south on Carolina Blvd. The pedestrian was unlawfully in the roadway when struck by Bessant's 2005 Honda, states South Carolina Highway Patrol. 

Calloway was taken to Grand Strand Hospital where he died of traumatic injuries at 3:05 a.m. this morning, said Chief Deputy Coroner Willard.

Highway patrol is investigating this case.

    A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder following a verbal fight and fatal shooting in Florence County Saturday night. Bryan Austin Seidle has been charged with murder for the fatal shooting, which happened on East Circle Lane in Florence County at about 10 p.m. Saturday, according to Major Mike Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.
