MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A truck carrying logs overturned on the U.S. 17 Bypass near the Myrtle Beach International Airport.

Photos of the scene were posted to the WMBF News Facebook page showing the overturned vehicle and the logs in what appears to be the median.

Myrtle Beach Police Lt. Joey Crosby said the southbound lane of U.S. 17 Bypass was once again open to traffic just after 5 p.m., Tuesday.

Crosby still encouraged motorists to get off on Harrelson Boulevard and use Seaboard Street, Robert Grissom Parkway or S.C. 15 to get to their destination until traffic thins out.
