OMAHA, NE (WMBF) – Coastal Carolina baseball extended its season by another day, winning a second straight elimination game on Friday night over TCU, by a 4-1 final.

Andrew Beckwith got the win, going a full nine innings for the second time in this year's CWS. He threw 137 pitches, and only allowed one run and one walk, along with six hits and five strikeouts. He also threw a complete game win against Florida earlier this Series.

For the second straight game, David Parrett had a long hit and RBI. He picked up an RBI ground rule double in his only hit of the night. Anthony Marks, Connor Owings and Billy Cooke also picked up RBIs.

Gary Gilmore said that he may look to throw multiple pitchers in Saturday night's game. Alex Cunningham is poised to get the start. TCU still has its ace in Jared Janczak ready to throw as well. He threw in his team's opening game last Sunday.

The Chants and Horned Frogs will now play Saturday night, with the winning team headed to the CWS best-of-three Championship Series. Coastal is the designated home team for that game, with first pitch set for 8:00 EST.
