SCOTLAND, NC (WMBF) – Investigators with the Scotland County Sheriff's Office arrested two men for a larceny that was reported to the sheriff's office on June 13.
William Kirk Wallace, 32, of Bennettsville and Fredrick Eugene Williams, 21, of Wallace took a vehicle from a local body shop during the night, according to SCSO Facebook post.
The vehicle was later recovered in Chesterfield County on June 15 and returned to the body shop owner.
Wallace and Williams were arrested with assistance by the Marlboro County Sheriff's Office Investigators on Friday June 17. The men were charged with 1 count of breaking or entering a motor vehicle, 1 count of larceny of a motor vehicle and 1 count of misdemeanor larceny, the post states.
They both waived extradition and both suspects were picked up at the Marlboro County Detention Center on Monday June 20, 2016 and transported to the Scotland County Detention Center. Both suspects were given a $25,000.00 secured bond and placed in the Scotland County Detention Center, according to the post.
