Power outages affecting over 4,000 Horry County residents

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Strong Wednesday evening lightning storms are leaving some residents along the Grand Strand without power.

According to information on Horry Electric’s website, over 3,200 residents are currently without power in the Brooksville, Shell and Aynor areas of the county.

Additionally, power outages are affecting 959 residents in the Conway area, according to information from Santee Cooper’s website.
