2 more charged with murder after shooting, robbery in Lumberton Friday

LUMBERTON, NC (WMBF) – Two more people were arrested on Monday and charged with murder after a man was shot to death during a robbery in Lumberton on Friday, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office. Four people total are now charged in connection with this case.

Austin Duncan, 16 of Currie, North Carolina and Dylan Vance Smith, 16, of Bladenboro, NC, were arrested Monday for the shooting death of 27-year-old Kyle Bullard. Duncan and Smith were each charged with first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, first-degree burglary and felony conspiracy, according to a news release from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office. They are in the Robeson County Detention Center with no bond.

On Sunday, Mitchell Ryan Shaw, 21, and Dominique Delton Page, 16, both of Lumberton, were arrested for the shooting. Shaw and Page are each charged with first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, first-degree burglary and felony conspiracy. They are being held in the Robeson County Detention Center with no bond.

At about 12:13 a.m. Friday, Law enforcement responded to Bullard’s residence on Old Whiteville Road to find he had been shot and killed inside the home, according to a news release from the RCSO.

The residence was forced open by four men with their faces covered, one of whom had a shotgun, the release states. Bullard and his mother were robbed of personal items, according to officials.
