HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - An attorney representing two women in lawsuits against the Horry County Police Department wants the agency to turn over more records about the department’s former investigators and their treatment of female crime victims, saying in court papers that the documents provided by the county appear “incomplete.”

According to WMBF News' news partner My Horry News, James Moore of the Evans Moore law firm filed the motion to compel this week.

The motion is part of a lawsuit filed by an unnamed woman who has accused former detective Allen Large of sexually assaulting her. Moore is representing another woman who has made similar claims and a third lawsuit was filed against the agency that asserts detectives didn’t properly investigate a 15-year-old girl’s rape case, according to My Horry News.
