CCU-NC State postponed in ninth inning

RALEIGH, NC (WMBF) – The deciding game of the Raleigh Regional will have to wait overnight and be played out Tuesday after rain halted play in the top of the ninth inning. Coastal Carolina is currently down to their final two outs and are trailing 5-3. The bases are loaded with G.K. Young due up after a Zach Remillard infield single put three runners on. The game is set to resume at two o'clock from Doak Field.

This is the third weather delay of game seven of the regional. The game began after an hour and forty-minute delay, and midway through there was another 39-minute delay due to weather. The final stoppage came at 12:05 a.m.

The winner of the Raleigh Regional faces the winner of the Baton Rouge Regional, which will also have a Tuesday finish. Rice and LSU play a winner take all game at five o'clock.
