CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – Horry County Fire Rescue and Conway Fire Department responded to a fire at Bonfire Restaurant on 110 Main Street in Conway early Saturday morning.

According to crews, about 35 percent of the fire damage took place in the kitchen area, according to Conway Fire Assistant Chief Jeremy Carter. There were no civilian injuries and no firefighter injuries. The fire department received the call at about 7:20 a.m.

The fire was called in by an employee, who was inside of the building when the fire occurred, Carter said.

Carter said this fire will not affect the Conway Spring Fest.

Horry County Fire Rescue and Conway Fire Department are still investigating to determine the cause and origin of the fire, said Carter.
