Several local hot spots don't fare well on this week's Restaurant Scorecard

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - On this week’s Restaurant Scorecard, many local hot spots didn't fare so well when the Department of Health and Environmental Control came to visit.

We begin in North Myrtle Beach at Duffy Street Seafood Shack on Main Street - they got an 82.
Inspectors say their dish machine was not sanitizing. Also, the self-closer on the back door was broken, and they found the floor dirty under the cook line.

Also in North Myrtle Beach, the Plantation Pancake House on Highway 17 got an 88 from inspectors. There were no product thermometers provided, and foods were being stored on the floor in the walk-in freezer.

Je Asian Fusion on Highway 9 in Longs got an 88 from the Department of Health. They found that the cutting board surface had deep cuts, the interior of dish machine was not clean, and the shelves had unclean surfaces.

Now to the good news for the week: Carrabba's Italian Grill on North Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach got a 98 from inspectors, and Grecian Corner, also on North Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach, got a 98 as well.
