MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) A cold front moved through Wednesday leaving cooler air in its wake. Also, lingering moisture will allow for another cloudy and dreary day before we clear out and warm back up.
A cold front that pushed offshore is ushering in cooler air into the region. The temperatures we are waking up to this morning are where we will be hovering through the day. Highs may waver within a degree or two from where we are at now in the mid 40s. Rain showers will continue on and off through the morning and afternoon hours. While it may be raining the bulk of the day, the rain will be light only amounting to a .10 of an inch in the Pee Dee to a half of an inch along the Grand Strand. Rain clears out tonight.
This evening we fall into the lower to mid 30s across the area with clear skies and a light wind. some frost will be possible Friday morning. Friday through the weekend look clear and fantastic. Highs will increase each day starting in the mid 50s on Friday and reaching the mid 60s by early next week. We keep the forecast dry and warm through Tuesday and then begin to watch out next system move in by the middle of next week.
