MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) The rain we're expecting Thursday will be making the temperatures in the mid 40s feel a little bit cooler. A cool and damp day ahead of us. We're topping out in the mid 40s today which is close to ten degrees below average for this time of year.
As we head into the weekend and the beginning of next week, sunny skies and a ridge of high pressure will warm us up a few more degrees each day. By Monday and Tuesday, sunshine and temperatures nearing 70 are in the forecast!
Normally, at the end of January, we see our highs sit in the mid 50s. Now, in order to get the average temperatures you have to have a variety of temperatures to choose from. So although temperatures may swing from the mid 40s to the mid 60s, that's what gives us the normal or average temperatures.
