Missing 12 year-old girl found safe

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) – Shaeleigh Lyman has safely located, according to Major Mike Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies searched a wooded area, off TV Road in Florence County, until shortly after 9:00 p.m. for the missing 12 year-old girl, according to Major Nunn.

Lyman, of 2827 West Black Creek Road was discovered missing around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday. She is described as a white female with brown hair, hazel eyes, 5 feet tall, and weighing around 90 pounds.

Lyman had last been seen wearing a light blue top and stone washed jeans.  

According to Major Nun, K-9’s were used to assist in the search.
