North Myrtle Beach Walmart hiring 96 associates, holding job fair Feb. 4

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Walmart in North Myrtle Beach is seeking to hire nearly 100 store associate positions, and Palmetto Goodwill is hosting a hiring event for these positions on February 4.

The store at Gator Hole Plaza is looking to fill day shifts (through 10 p.m.) and overnight shifts (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; starting wages are $9 per hour for the day shifts and $9.50 an hour for the overnight shifts, according to a news release from Palmetto Goodwill.

Orientation for new hires is set to begin the week of February 15, and employees can expect to work from February 21 to May 27, the release states. Some employees will have the opportunity to continue as long-term employees.

The Hire Me! Event will take place on Thursday, February 4 at 10 a.m. at the Goodwill Job Link Center, located at 3336 Highway 17 South in North Myrtle Beach. Hiring managers will be on-site to conduct interviews, with job offers being made on the spot to qualified candidates.

Applicants must pre-register for the event by sending an e-mail to mbhireme@palmettogoodwill.org. Candidates should dress professionally and bring all documentation for hiring, including a list of references, official identification, and social security card or birth certificate.
