Ocean Lakes Family Campground to host Beach n' Boogie Weekend

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – On Valentine's Day weekend, February 12 and 13, Ocean Lakes Family Campground will have a weekend full of excitement with live concerts by the Embers and The Band of Oz, shag lessons, and family-friendly fun, according to a news release from Ocean Lakes. This celebration is exclusively for guests of the campground and sites are still available.

The Beach n' Boogie will begin Friday, February 12, with music performances by The Embers from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Shag lessons by the legendary Judy Duke will kick off on Saturday, February 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the release states. Later in the evening, The Band of Oz will perform a full horn section from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. All activities will be held in the Recreation Building.

Advanced wristbands are $20, $25 at the door for adults, and organizers say they will be $5 for children between 4 and 11. Wristbands must be worn at all times for admission to all concerts and activities.
