Man charged for attempted murder after Sportsman's Club shooting in Conway

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - Horry County Police Officers responded to the Sportsman's Club in Conway in reference to a shooting incident on January 24 at 2:45 a.m., according to reports. 

Upon arriving officers found a man suffering from what appeared to be a single gunshot wound. Officers were later notified that there was a second shooting victim at the Bucksport Fire Station, according to reports. 

Detectives and witnesses helped identify the shooter who was taken into custody.

Francoisx Shepard, 25, from Conway, is being held at the Horry County Detention Center and charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of felon in possession of a firearm. 

Reports say both victims are expected to recover from their injuries.
