Windchill values dip into the teens over the next few days.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) We've dealt with the cold a little bit this winter season already but the cold that is headed for the area over the next few days is going to be some of the coldest air that we've seen in a while and it all starts tonight.

Lows Sunday will be falling into the lower 30s across the area. Not too bad. Add in the light wind and it will feel like the mid 20s by the time you head out the door on Monday. Monday night the bottom falls out and we see overnight lows fall into the lower 20s and even a few upper teens could show up. Again, add in that light wind and temperatures will feel like they're in the low to mid teens as you head out the door on Tuesday.

Tuesday will be the coldest of the week ahead with highs scracthing and clawing to get out of the 30s. Most won't make it. The wind will make it feel like it's in the lower 30s all day. Overnight Tuesday we see another very cold night with overnight lows in the low 20s. with the wind it will once again feel like it's in the teens outside.

Wednesday we see temperatures rebound slightly. Highs will be in the mid 40s with sunshine. Overnight Wednesday into we break out of the 20s and see our lows fall into the low to mid 30s.

The rest of the week we see a warming trend.

Remember, if you are out in these temperatures you will want to bundle up and dress VERY warmly. This type of cold is dangerous to humans, pets and plants. Please remember that.
