MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) A frosty start to the day. Once the sun comes up things will warm up very quick. Into the mid to upper 50s this afternoon. We'll see plenty of sun today. By this evening we start to see some clouds roll in and that will keep us slightly warmer overnight. Friday morning we wake up to temperatures in the low 40s along the coast and mid 30s inland.
Friday is an alert day. this means that Friday will be a day where weather will prove to be a nuisance or a day where there will likely to be some issues caused by the weather. In this case, heavy rain will be the cause and this heavy rain may cause further issues for our rivers which have just began to recede. The heaviest of rain on Friday will move in through the afternoon and evening. Upwards of 1-2 inches of rain may fall through the day.
By this week we dry out and keeps temperatures mild. Saturday highs will be in the low 60s but Sunday temperatures fall into the low 50s for highs. We continue with the dry weather and the cool weather as we start next week when highs will only be in the mid to upper 40s.
