Conway Police investigating after man found shot in leg

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – Conway Police responded to a residence in the 2200 block of Ninth Avenue Thursday night to find a man shot in the leg, according to a police report.

An officer found the victim sitting in a chair in the front yard of a home at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday with a gunshot wound to his left leg, the report states. The scene was locked down, and names of potential witnesses were gathered.

At this time, no suspect has been found or identified by police.
