MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) Friday will see mostly cloudy skies and temperatures climbing into the upper 50s. A few spotty showers will be possible on Friday, but no heavy rain is expected.
The weekend will offer up changeable weather a storm system and cold front move through. Saturday will be much milder with mostly cloudy skies and good chance of showers.The risk of rain will arrive in the afternoon hours on Saturday and linger into Saturday night. A few heavier downpours will be possible but no widespread heavy rain is expected at this point. Rainfall totals will average .25 to .50 inches. Saturday afternoon temperatures will climb into the middle and upper 60s.
A cold front will move through the region early on Sunday ending the rain and clearing out our skies. Temperatures may briefly reach the middle 60s on Sunday but will likely fall through the afternoon as colder weather returns. Next week is looking dry and chilly with daytime high temperatures in the returning to the 40s and 50s and overnight lows well down into the 30s.
