MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A man was arrested with DUI and child endangerment early Wednesday after officers said he was speeding and swerving down 17 Bypass with a child in the backseat, according to Myrtle Beach police..

Officers reported that around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, a vehicle was speeding on the Bypass nearly 20 miles over the speed limit. The officer got behind the vehicle, and said it was weaving around the highway.

The police report noted the officer pulled over the vehicle off Palmetto Pointe Boulevard. When the officer got near the driver's side, he said 26-year-old Adrian Thomas was crawling into the back seat and a female in the passenger seat was trying to slide into the driver's side.
