MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) The cold air stays locked across the area today with highs struggling to make it to 50. We'll start off with mainly clear skies but quickly see the clouds moves in ahead of the next system we're tracking. Today will be dry and breezy. Overnight we will fall into the lower 40s on the coast and upper 30s inland.
A slight chance of rain moves in Thursday with a very isolated shower possible. Mild air also moves in for the weekend. The best chance for rain comes Friday and Sunday with sporadic rain chances in between. Highs through Monday will top out in the mid 60s across the area.
We dry out as we begin a new week. While we do turn milder for the weekend, another shot of much colder weather is looking likely by the middle part of next week.
