Gun and Knife show returns to Florence

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - The annual Gun & Knife show returns to the Florence Civic Center. Attendees will have the chance to browse through an expansive selection of firearms, related equipment and collector items. 

An abundance of private, pawn and retailer vendors will be onsite and offering a variety of products.

The event will be held from Jan 9-10: Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.

This event is a safe, high quality show with a family friendly atmosphere, offering a wide variety of firearms and related equipment for shooters, collectors, Civil War & Military enthusiasts. 

Tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the event. 

No loaded firearms are allowed in the shows. This means guns on display, guns for sale and personal carry guns. If you carry a personal firearm, unload it before you enter the building and only re-load it after you exit the building. If you are caught with a loaded firearm in the show, you will immediately be escorted from the show, your table packed up and you will be banned from all future shows. Depending on the circumstances, you may also face criminal charges. 

Concealed carry permits are not valid at the shows.

    Temperatures will once again climb quickly today, but not quite as warm as Wednesday. Afternoon readings will reach the upper 70s to near 80.  Southerly winds will shift to the west and become strong and gusty during the day. Wind gusts of 30 mph will likely at times through the afternoon and evening.
