MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Officers with the Myrtle Beach Police department responded to Custom Care Inc., in reference to an alarm activation Saturday night. Reports say police then discovered a burglary involving stolen sound equipment, after watching surveillance video.
Upon arriving, officers discovered that a board which was previously put up to cover a window that was broken into from a burglary in the past, was broken.
Officers entered the building and did not find anyone inside, but did observe the cash register drawer laying on the floor.
Surveillance video showed the suspect stole a box with an amplifier and car radio.
Officers said no money was stolen out of the register.
The suspect is identified to have dark hair down to under his ears, no facial hair, wearing a ball cap and loose pants and jacket, according to Myrtle Beach Police reports.
